PRADA x FINAL FANTASY
Wait, what? The images above appear in the latest issue of Arena Homme+ as part of the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Final Fantasy series. FF13-2 characters Lightning, Noel, Snow, Sazh and Hope are all wearing Prada gear.
They were created by Square Enix’s Visual Works studio in Japan, working alongside the Final Fantasy character designers. The magazine page feature includes “key looks” from Prada’s S/S12 men’s collection, “regarded by many as one the best of the season, with key pieces including printed silk shirts and sharp modern suiting”.
Perhaps the most bizarre video game/real life cross-over we’ve ever seen. Very nice!

How To Wear a Tie Bar
Usually we leave the hardcore fashion posts to our tum-bro GQ Fashion, but this one was just too damn important. Because if you haven’t noticed, we’re big fans of the tie bar here at GQ. And while we’ve been thrilled to see an uptick in real guys wearing them on the street, we’ve gotta say, some of you just aren’t doing it right. So we asked GQcreative director Jim Moore to break down exactly how it’s done. The most crucial part: position. Says Jim: “The rule is simple: It goes between the third and fourth buttons of your dress shirt.” Need more help? Click here.
One of a kind.

ALEXANDER MQUEEN FALL/WINTER 2012.13
Oh, yes! Designer Sarah Burton tapped into the Victorian age as inspiration for McQueen’s Fall menswear collection. (She’s clearly filling up the huge shoes the great McQueen himself left behind for her). This collection truly has everything; velvet tuxedo jackets, double breasted suits, plaid, tartan and some slick flower prints. Digging it? Yes.
